To continuously refine the effectiveness of technological disaster relief and ensure the safety of frontline personnel, the Taichung City Fire Bureau recently organized a "Drone Application Workshop," inviting all field battalions to participate. Through the exchange of frontline practical experience, the workshop delved into the multi-faceted application development of drones in disaster rescue, fire reconnaissance, initial fire suppression, mountain search and rescue, intelligence gathering, and logistical resupply, demonstrating Taichung City's determination to actively construct a smart firefighting system.
This workshop specially invited Yi-Hung Wang, CEO of Hao Juen Technology Co., Ltd., to lead a delegation to share the latest research and development results and engage in an in-depth dialogue with consultants and project managers from the Asia UAV AI Innovation Application R&D Center. Both industry and government parties exchanged valuable opinions on cutting-edge application technologies such as large payload drones, AI recognition, rescue material delivery, and fire extinguishing modules, hoping to combine professional industry strength and capacity to jointly propel smart firefighting towards a new milestone.
The Taichung City Fire Bureau stated that it has currently trained and possesses 157 professional drone pilots. In the future, it will continue to combine industry resources and expert teams to promote the application of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and smart sensing in disaster relief practices, further enhancing disaster response efficiency and ensuring the operational safety of firefighters, fully committing to protecting the lives and property of citizens.
