2024 National Library of Public Information, Taichung – Advanced Machinery Thematic Exhibition

National Formosa University and Hao Juen Technology Showcase Customized Non-Circular Chainrings at the National Library of Public Information

The National Library of Public Information and National Formosa University jointly organized the "Technical and Vocational Education Evolution – Advanced Machinery Thematic Exhibition", aiming to serve as an important information platform for students and the general public to learn about the field of technical and vocational education. At the exhibition's press conference, Mr. Hsu Chen-Pang, Specialist of the Department of Technological and Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, personally hosted the event. The exhibition showcased a variety of innovative applications, including sports science, virtual reality, agricultural technology, and automated manufacturing. The exhibition will run until December 29, 2024, and is held at the "Window to the World" exhibition area on the 3rd floor of the National Library of Public Information's main building. The exhibition space is divided into four themed areas: "Mechanical Avatars," "Assembly Masters," "Craftsmanship Voyage," and "Digital Wonders." Through different exhibition designs and diverse digital interactive experiences, the exhibition presents a unique and engaging experience for visitors. A reading corner has also been set up within the exhibition area, providing books related to technology, machinery, and other relevant subjects, allowing visitors to read and immediately borrow books in these fields while visiting the exhibition. In her opening remarks, Ms. Ma Hsiang-Ping, Director of the National Library of Public Information, stated that this year the library will invite technical and vocational schools from across central Taiwan to jointly organize a series of career exploration activities and hands-on technical and vocational experience carnivals for the public. More than 60 events are planned, integrating the permanent technical and vocational exhibition into the library's reading promotion programs, providing the public with more opportunities to learn about technical and vocational education through an educational and entertaining approach.
